Well, I have been fixing a lot of stuff lately and can say, except for Episode 3 and the enemy bugs we still have, the game is playable to the end.

As I think those bugs can be solved easily, I want to do some major fixes now, and release a bundled version on Dec. 24 2009. That is tomorrow.

I will call it "Commander Genius Version 0.3.1 Alpha 1". I think we are ready to release.

Too sad, that some features are still missing, but let's say, that Demo never worked correctly and the support of multiplayer wasn't that good, we still can release it.

I know, that Chad will make multiplayer get working again!

About our next step I will tell shortly

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it every day. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. But as time went by the little boy grew up and he no longer played around the tree. The tree began to become sad and lonely without the little boy.

One day, the boy came back to the tree looking sad. “Come and play with me,” the tree asked the boy hopefully. “I am no longer a kid, I don’t play around trees anymore.” The boy replied, “I want toys, and I need money to buy them.” “Sorry, I don’t have any money, but you can always pick all my apples and sell them to make money.” The boy was so excited and gleefully picked all the apples on the tree and left happily. However, the boy didn’t return after picking the apples. This made the tree very sad.

One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited. “Come and play with me,” The tree said excitedly. “I don’t have time to play with you. I have to work to provide for my family. We need a house to live in, can you help me?” “Sorry, I don’t have a house, but you can cut off my branches to help build your house.” So the boy went to work and cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy didn’t appear since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was delighted. “Come and play with me!” exclaimed the tree. “I am getting much too old to play with you. I just want a boat to sit and relax on.” “No, but you can use my trunk to build the boat. Then you can sail and be happy.” So the boy cut off the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and did not show up for a long time.

Finally, the boy returned after he was gone for so many years. “I'm sorry, but I don’t have anything left for you to take,” the tree said sadly, "no more apples for you to have." “ I don’t have teeth to bite,” The boy replied. “No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old to climb up a trunk,” the boy said. “I really wish to give you something, but the only thing left is my dying roots.” The tree said with tears, “I don’t need much after all these years, just a place to rest.” The boy replied, “Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest.” The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

This is a story of everyone, the tree is our parent, and when we were young, we loved to play with Mom and Dad. But as we grow up, we leave them, and only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could to make you happy. You may think that the boy is cruel to the tree but that's how all of us are treating our parents.

Edit(Pizza2004): This was half spam and half this touching story. So I revised it a little to make it better, and removed the spam, but I am leaving the story because it is a good one.

lol, a spambot telling us a touching story. Okay!

Can't we just use SourceForge for the forums? It has forum capabilities, right?

That would be an option or what I'd prefer is to use a subforum under PCKF.
